These are my initial ideas for my A2 genre coursework. I researched a range of genres in order to gather an insight into the different features each will use in order for me to decide what I will copy or challenge. I was particularly fond of the 'ELLE' and 'Glamour' magazines as I felt they creatively used the space on the page without making it seem cluttered and overbearing to the audience. So far I am thinking about creating my products based on Prom whilst also making it regional. Due to the time of year, prom is near and therefore people will be starting to plan. A lot of people I know are preparingg for this season and I feel a magazine could then be created to suit people regionally or nationally. I further chose this genre as I ad great excitement for my prom but when I was looking for inspiration I was limited. When creating my own magazine on this genre I used this moodpboard for general inspiration for features to challenge in the creation process.
